The Keylock is an extra-coronal fitted attachment. It can be used in all indication areas in combination work. Due to its special construction, with its absolutely friction-free functionality, it ensures maximum protection of the abutment tooth from any force exerted during removal. This is an absolute must in implant treatment. The Keylock is processed in conjunction with cone or telescopic crowns, or with RS milling. As the entire structure of the secondary unit (matrix box and attachment) can be removed from the secondary framework, it is also possible to veneer this area with ceramic. The acrylic primary unit can be cast alongside the crown or bridge alloy in question. The Keylock can be used in all standard areas for example in inter-dental saddle treatment, with a terminal abutment which has a ring telescope. If an abutment is lost, a unilateral free end treatment can be carried out, without model casting, with minimal effort, by means of a simple saddle extension.
